Gorton may not really have a sea, but we DO have lots of fun (hopefully some sun) and REAL (very well-cared for) donkeys!!
What’s On?
Get ready for a full day of entertainment and activities designed to delight every member of the family:
- Donkey rides (£4 per ride. Pre-booking essential, see below)
- A traditional children’s funfair
- A vintage bus display
- Live music and performances throughout the day
- Hands-on arts & crafts activities
- Face painting for the young (and young at heart)
- Stalls from local makers and community groups
- Tombola, raffle and feel-good surprises

This event is free to attend (please reserve a complimentary ticket), but donations to support the Monastery Charitable Trust are always deeply appreciated. Your contribution helps us preserve this grade II* national heritage site for generations to come.
